I'm delighted to announce here that Drug Topics magazine has published my latest viewpoint which focuses on how compounding pharmacists can continue to enhance their credibility with the public at large.
As I say in the piece, it is time for our profession to broadly adopt best practices so that we can shine at what we do best. In particular, pharmacies should: gain accreditation; meet and exceed the USP <800> challenge (it will be here before you know it); be transparent; and be part of the national compounding pharmacy community.
I welcome you to read the article by clicking here, and please feel free to share your thoughts by emailing or calling me.
Best wishes.
Sincerely,
Our latest post on The Candid Compounder blog focuses on a plan of action to address "observations" made by an FDA inspection team.
